This was our first year back to Wisconsin since 2000. We made a little (8 foot tall - 3 ton) hummingbird balanced on a leaf and feeding in a flower. Neil - my work-mate - went with us - his first time sculpting snow. Leslie - who helped us win in 2002 was scared to fly and Brooke - who is now one of the core sculptors - was still in college. We really learned a lot about snow sculpture from the sculptors who recognized us from 2000, and saw that we were 'into it'.
