For First Night in Burlington. 2009 is the quadracentennial of Samuel De Champlain's 'discovery' of Burlington's Lake Champlain. So we made Samuel De Champlain and Champ - the lake monster. Samuel De Champlain is nit a highly iconic figure and lends himself to many interpretations - like "Is that Teddy Roosevelt"? - but as always, we love being out there and we love making something for First Night.
